Lina Disciplina was asked to create the visual identity for the Film Festival for Young People – Aurora.
The festival symbol, the aurora (borealis), represents how film shines in the dark and lifts you upwards. The slogan, "Your story needs a film," invites young people to draw inspiration from their daily lives (school, home, or paths to school).
Lina Disciplina chose a comic style for the poster and communication, as comics convey stories emotionally and minimally. The illustrated story depicts an ordinary day until an idea, like the aurora, sparks in the protagonist's imagination, changing her perspective.
The illustrations can be rearranged in various ways once the main sequence is introduced.
