Sofia Kovalevskaya and Maryam Mirzakhani were the greatest female mathematicians of their time: Sofia became the world’s first female professor of mathematics in Stockholm; Maryam was a professor at Stanford and was the first woman to be awarded the Fields Medal. Author Andrea Geißler has now brought these two remarkable women together in conversation and had them develop a social utopia together.
